Receive Your Blessings!

Ask • Believe • Receive!

 
If you are a “born-again” Christian, you have a VERY wealthy Father.  You are God’s child!  Like any good parent, God wants the best for His children.  He wants to give you many blessings.

Jesus said in Luke 12:32, “... it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” 


Consider the enormous wealth of God:
• The whole world is the Lord’s (Psalm 24:1)
• The silver and gold is the Lord’s (Haggai 2:8)
• God owns the cattle on 1000 hills (Psalm 50:10)
• Heaven is made of pure gold and precious stones (Rev 21)
• There is perfect health and happiness in heaven (Rev 21)


God can also bless you with things that money cannot buy:
• God loves you and gives you Everlasting Life through Jesus (John 3:16)
• Grace and Mercy (2 John 1:3)
• Love, Joy, Peace, etc. (Galatians 5:22-24)
• You have a Family and Friends in Christ (1 Corinthians 12)
• Less burdens (Matthew 11:30)
• Health and Healings (Exodus 15:26)
• Wisdom (James 1:5)
• Your goals, dreams, plans, and purposes (Psalm 37:4) 


God is your source!  John 3:27 says, “A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.”  With God as your source and supply, your blessings are unlimited and endless.  Deuteronomy 28 explains how God will bless us in every way.  And Psalms 68:19 says, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.”

God is continually pouring out great ideas, and great opportunities for us, but we must be open to receive them. Always be thankful for ALL that God has done for you.  And, open up and receive the many ways that God wants to bless you, and give you Favor!

It doesn’t matter what God wants to give you, if you refuse to receive it.  Imagine having a winning lottery ticket worth $10,000,000 in your dresser.  What if you never realized you had the winning ticket, and you never received your money?  Imagine someone sending you a $1,000,000 check.  Would you refuse to cash it?  Imagine inheriting billions of dollars, but not ever finding out about it.  God’s blessings are bigger than any of these things, and many Christians either do not fully realize them, or refuse to receive them.

Like in farming, once you get a "Harvest", you must accept it, and reap it, or it will just rot.  God can give you a Hundredfold Harvest, but you must go and REAP the Harvest.  Abundant blessings will come to us when we are ready to receive them with an open and grateful heart.
 

Jesus said in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
 

• Will we receive what God has promised us, and wants to give us?

• Will we receive what God and Jesus have already done for us?

• Will we receive our success?
 

Hebrews 10:36 says, “For ye have need of patience, that,
after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise"
